Venue: The Community Lounge, Winstanley Community College, Kingsway North, Braunstone, Leicester, LE3 3BD.
Time: First Wednesday of the month (unless indicated otherwise). We meet at 6.45pm to begin at 7pm and end at 9.30pm.
Accessibility: There are a few steps under the covered walkway, but they are not steep and have rails either side. Once inside it is on one level.
Facilities: Refreshments are available at the meeting. We also have a comprehensive library, where members can borrow books about various cacti and succulents for a small fee. The venue has disabled toilets.
Directions: From the M1 & the South. From Narborough Road A5460, turn left onto Braunstone Lane at Jaguar showrooms. Proceed along Braunstone Lane. Look for a large thatched building on the left (Paul Pender Funerals). Take the second left onto Bidford Road (Community College is signed). Continue along Bidford Road to a T Junction turn left onto Kingsway North. The college entrance is first on the right. There are several carparks, the closest are carparks 1 and 3. Walk towards the closed walkway and then in the left building is a door leading down a corridor to the Community Lounge at the bottom.
Parking: Plenty of free on site parking.
